Bruno Morais
Lead Teacher - Portugal and Sri Lanka Intensives
Make it stand out.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Make it stand out.
Movement has always been central to Bruno's life; he studied dance in Amsterdam and performed in theatres across Europe, exploring the limits of expression through the body. Yoga initially served as a warm-up for his dance practice, but over time, it became much more—a means of self-discovery, balance, and inner connection. This deeper appreciation led him to complete his first Yoga Teacher Training, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his journey.
At a professional crossroads, Bruno embarked on a transformative journey, traveling the world to teach yoga while continuing to refine his practice. Along the way, he immersed himself in advanced studies, including a 300-hour training with renowned teachers Nina Vukas and Celest Pereira. His dedication and passion for sharing knowledge led him to the Spanda Institute, where he started as a mentor, later became an assistant teacher, and now leads our 200-hour YTT courses in Portugal and Sri Lanka.
Bruno is known for his fun, humble, and patient approach, making yoga accessible and enjoyable for students of all levels. When he's not leading teacher trainings, he shares his practice through weekly classes in and around Lisbon, fostering a supportive and welcoming yoga community.

Student Testimonial
“Bruno’s passion for yoga and all things movement came through every single day and this was honestly so inspiring to be around. Our group had a range of backgrounds and experience and Bruno handled this with so much grace, ensuring he nurtured us as a collective and as individuals. He kept the pace of the course and checked we understood before moving on, actively encouraging us ask questions which meant, for me at least, we left feeling secure in what we had learnt.” - Poppy
