300-hour paths
for Spanda alumni

We love to see our 200-gour graduates returning to do another course with us or a full 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training. We offer three different study paths: in-person intensive, fully online, or a mix and match.

300-hour in-person intensive

We offer 300-hour in-person intensives once a year and are always looking forward to seeing our 200-hour graduates there. Our 300-hour Intensive Yoga Teacher Training courses are always in a hybrid format and include online modules and a three-week in-person intensive. Since the online modules include the Spanda Method, a module you have already studied, you will get a different module(s). Which one(s) will depend on what we cover during the in-person training.

300-hour Yoga Teacher Training online

If you would like to do your 300-hour training entirely online, we offer the following modules as a build-up from what you have already studied with us. Bonus modules are provided to all to refresh your knowledge, but mainly to those who have attended our 200-hour training before 2021 and have not gone through them in this format. We update our modules with new information constantly.

  • Yoga History & Tradition (bonus module)

  • Anatomy & Physiology (partially bonus module)

  • Trauma-Sensitive Yoga

  • Somatic Awareness

  • Chakra Flow

  • Beyond Asana + Advanced Pranayama + Yoga Nidra

  • Prenatal Yoga Essentials

  • Tools For Growth - The Business of Teaching Yoga

    + 10 one-to-one mentoring sessions

Mix and match path

If you cannot commit to joining one of our 300-hour intensives or an entire 300-hour online course, we offer you a unique path towards getting your 300-hour certification and becoming a RYT-500 - a mix-and-match path.

You can pick and choose the modules you are interested in (in-person and online) and log them in an Excel sheet, which you will send to us once you have completed all the hours. The Excel should contain the following entries: course name, date you took the course, course hours, teacher name, and teacher designation*.

The 300-hour YTT consists of 280 contact hours (coursework) and 20 hours of independent study (reading, research etc.). 230 of those hours must be completed with us, and 50 hours of training can be done with another teacher/school, given that the teacher has a valid designation*. You have three years to complete the training (this can be extended if needed), so you can, for example, commit to one in-person module a year (about 150 hours) and do the rest online. There are no requirements for the chosen modules either; we only advise you to complete our online Yoga History and Tradition and Anatomy & Physiology modules if certified before 2021.

You can find the in-person modules we are offering this year in the link HERE, as well as the online modules offering HERE. Please note that we keep adding new courses to the Spanda online education platform, so more will be available in the near future.

*According to Yoga Alliance rules, only teachers of E-RYT 500 designation and/or professionals with a degree in their respective fields can teach 300-hour YTT modules. For example, a physiotherapist can teach anatomy modules without being E-RYT 500. A certified Ayurvedic practitioner can teach Ayurveda modules etc.
