Your Teachers
Lead Trainer - Gea Krajcar
E-RYT 500, RPYT
Gea’s interest in Prenatal Yoga began shortly after completing her first teacher training with us. She felt the need to support the pregnant students who attended her classes, and to deepen her understanding of the practice, knowing she would one day walk that path herself, she completed Spanda’s Prental Yoga Teacher Trining with Nina Vukas. Teaching Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga quickly became one of the most fulfilling aspects of her teaching journey. Guiding women through their transition into motherhood and witnessing these powerful rites of passage profoundly shaped her offerings.
Gea is the founder of the SOMA Yoga studio in Wandsworth and a Programme Director for Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga TT, as well as a lead teacher on our 200h Yoga Teacher Training in London, and a teacher and mentor for the advanced 300h Teacher Training.
Guest Lecturer - Anita Budak
CD(DONA), CD(HUD) Certified birth doula, Doula Mentor
Anita is a certified DONA doula and doula mentor of the Croatian Doula Association living in Zagreb. She is a mother of three girls after whose births she began to actively support women in childbirth. Holding space for others during the transformation from woman into a mother is a path of self-discovery and a path of understanding our own mothers and their inner life.
Guest Lecturer - Ivana Lovric
RYT 200, shiatsu practitioner, psychologist, birth educator
Ivana is a body, mind & soul shiatsu practitioner, supporting women through all of their cycles, including pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Through mindful conversation and gentle bodywork, she supports women on their path to integral health and fulfilled life.

Students about this course
“I could not recommend this course enough! Gea has a way and energy about it ... she will guide you through this learning process with ease and deep care for your understanding of things. The course also enables you to look 'behind the curtain' of pure yoga poses and pregnancy mechanics. You dive deeper into all there is and that encompasses this precious time of pregnancy. To be able to learn from Gea in such a wholesome program - empowers you as a teacher, student, and a woman.I feel very grateful to be able to have done this! THANK YOU Gea!” - Natalia
“This training has changed my approach to practising yoga, my approach to teaching yoga, my approach to my own body, it even changed the way I walk. I've gotten in touch with the pieces of my body and my soul I didn't even know existed and enjoyed every single second of the process. This might have been the most transformative experience I've ever had. Thank you Gea, and a thank you to all beautiful women in our intimate trust circle.” - Tijana
“If you’re on the fence about signing up to one of Gea’s courses – whether it be online or in person, please just do it! I have almost completed my Prenatal YTT via Zoom with Gea and it has been one of the greatest experiences possible. I didn’t feel at any time that I have lost out on any part of training by completing it over Zoom – I have felt so connected to the other members in the course and have received so much personalised support and feedback. Gea shares so much knowledge, not only about yoga (and in this case the journey to motherhood and beyond) but imparts so much calmness and wisdom through her teaching that I have found transformative for me beyond teacher training. I have felt so supported, encouraged, and seen by Gea – she has an amazing talent for being able to identify your inner struggles and help you to overcome them. I have gained so much knowledge and confidence in my yoga practice and teaching, and cannot recommend Gea enough! As a physio, I was especially happy with the amazing care and detail Gea puts in linking anatomy and physiology to yoga, this was so thorough and accurate while remaining accessible to everyone. The overall course content has been constructed so thoughtfully and is such an amazing resource that I’ll use forever.” - Mahlie
“Gea gives you all she has and a bit more. Always patient with questions, no matter how repetitive and naive they might be. Making her student learn the reasoning behind every asana, flow and words said. Her teachings will prepare you for real life situations - groups with different levels of experience, emotional states and enthusiasm about yoga. She closely collaborates with the professionals in the field to offer their view on the practice and give us deeper understanding of different aspects of movement, psychology, physiology and anatomy. In short, I could not be more happy that I took the Prenatal teacher training with Gea.” - Marina
“Gea classes and lectures are a perfect combination of deep knowledge and understanding of asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga history and tradition combined with knowledge of anatomy, pregnancy, postpartum and ability to transfer her knowledge to students. She is very dedicated and her will to help and guide us in this journey is beyond expected. I gained more confidence and inspiration to teach and study more. Dear Gea, thank you for everything! Warmly recommended!” Dijana
